This place didn't sit well with Hergezod and Isaac knew it, he wasn't surprised at all. Everything was so peaceful and happy and it was likely driving the demon within a little crazy, so much so that it was probably bursting to say something, or yell something, or scream at Isaac to leave the damned place and not look back. Fasha meanwhile was padding along happily beside Isaac, tongue hanging out as she weaved between people or around those that were pretty much stunned at seeing a white wolf among them, so far from a snowy land.
Isaac didn't pay much mind to the stares he got for his companion wolf, stopping every once in a while to look back at the wolf before continuing forward. His eyes stopped however on a young woman that came up to Isaac and the wolf, her attention pressed on the furry white companion as she knelt down, cooing softly at the wolf, Fasha responded with a simple happy look, at least what one could assume was happiness since she wasn't snarling or barking, instead enjoying the petting.
Meanwhile Isaac's attention was on the chest of the young lady.. Needless to say she had quite a pair, the kind Isaac wouldn't have minded being close at hand. He was about to open his mouth to speak until the voice of Hergezod boomed out from his lips, although not once had his lips or tongue moved, "Damn! What have you been eating to make your breasts so damn big?!" Hergezod... You are a bastard. I know.. The young woman looked at Isaac with disgust, stood, drew her arm back and slapped his squarely across the face. The slapping sound rung out so clearly that people nearby actually winced, likely feeling the pain before chuckling at Isaac himself as he rubbed his cheek, "I deserved that.." Isaac responded simply, accepting defeat, he sure as hell couldn't explain that he had a symbiotic demon from another dimension lurking within his body, watching as the young woman huffed, turned on her heel and stomped away. The annoying thing was that he and Hergezod had such similar voices, although Hergezod's had far more maleficence in his tone. Totally worth it.. The demon chuckled within his host before receding entirely, it had certainly had its fun. Or perhaps vengeance for being stuck in this town with all these goody-two-shoes peasants!
Isaac continued to rub his cheek, ignoring the judging stares of the other people around him, Fasha simply continued to follow a little closer to her master, pressing her head softly against his leg. She knew the difference between the two sides of Isaac as well as how much it probably had upset her master. At least the wolf would never judge him. And it was because of Fasha he'd chosen the name he had for the Tournament. Out of sheer boredom he'd entered his name and called himself the Dire Wolf. He had wanted to see the tournament, but it would always be more fun to partake in the fights. He probably wasn't about to find many people to judge in this city.

Athie brushed her hands down, clearing them of dirt. She gave them a quick wash in a bucket of water, rinsing any remaining dirt from her finger tips. She'd been gardening. Planting roses. Quickly running back into her home, she changed from the male shirt and trousers, into a green silk dress with a darker green overdress, the silk was smooth on her body, and soft to touch. It is one of the more expensive dresses she had. She loved the dress, the green was the colour of nature, and set off the green in her eyes. It was a deep enough colour to not make her look washed out, and suited her. She made her way into the town, on one of the horses in the village stable. Finding her favourite horse, Epona, the piebald mare was kind tempered and fast, a perfect combination for a horse. She paid the man, and rode off. Cantering down the dusty track, she rose and fell with the horses rhythm. She allowed herself to get lost in the environment, the quietness of nature. She hopped off the horse, and tied it up. Patting the horses neck, she wondered what she was going to do first. Buy herbs – or seeds? She needed more seeds to plant but she also needed herbs for her healing profession. She finally made her decision, after a few minutes of mental indecision. Making her way through the centre of the city, she fought against a crowd of people. She could smell the delightful spices and pastries of the bakery, she was tempted to go in and buy something, but she was going to the apothecary for herbs and the likes, she couldn't divert from her plan, when she stopped as a commotion started. She couldn't hear what the woman had said, but the resulting slap was loud and sounded like it hurt. She winced at the noise. She hated when people were harmed. Waiting for people to disperse, she stayed behind. Even if he was a sleaze, it didn't mean that he should be slapped like that. He didn't know what he'd said, and to be honest, she didn't want to. It was when the crowd began to wander off, that she saw flashes of white fur. The sight of the white wolf was shocking, but it seemed tame – enough. Though she wasn't stupid enough to believe it wouldn't snap at someone and seriously harm them. “You know, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” she smiled as she walked over. “Are you okay?” she asked, wondering a little if she'd over stepped the boundaries already. “I mean, I could heal your cheek if you want. I'm a healer” she rambled. The man in front of her was attractive, but not in the way that her heart swooned. Mostly because her heart was somewhere else. Or with someone else. Not that she'd admit it. Not even to herself really. She smiled at him, softly. She demurely shifted her overdress. The sash like material was belted together, clinched just under her chest. The sleeves draped over her arms, caressing her skins with every breeze of wind. She bit her lip, wondering if he'd appreciate her offer.

When the sound of a woman caught his ear, at first Isaac didn't think it was aimed at him, rather more about him, at least until he heard her ask if he was okay. The man half-turned to look at her, his face was practically awash with sheer astonishment, the offer to heal his cheek was responded with what probably couldn't he considered an ordinary response as Isaac began to chuckle as if he'd just heard something unendingly hilarious, however managed to control himself and lowered his hand from his cheek. There was a clear red hand-mark on his face, but he only grinned, like a complete idiot, "It'd not be so bad if women actually knew what hell was really like." He replied chuckling again, eyes squeezed tightly together. The wolf stared up at Isaac, then towards Athelina, sniffing in her direction a few times, her head tilting then, giving the man a somewhat confused look "Don't waste your abilities on me, the offer's nice though,"
Isaac resting his hands in, his pockets for a moment but then reached up to the chest-plate below his overcoat, adjusting it slightly, it wasn't that it was uncomfortable, he was just unknowingly trying to preen himself, after all it wasn't often a girl approached him, even if it was because of him just getting slapped for something he apparently said, "You can call me Isaac, if you're looking for a name, and this lovely girl at my side is Fasha," He looked down to the wolf, "Say 'Hi' to the nice lady Fasha," He stated, the wolf almost immediately barking once in greeting before looking up at Isaac and whining slightly, "Wha-NO I don't know her and she's not my girlfriend." He hissed defensively, some might think he was making it up, but Fasha was a very smart little beast and for some reason Isaac understood her, probably a result of having lived with her so long, she opened her jaw and hung her tongue out, practically mocking the man as he rubbed his temples, "I'm in trouble with one woman already Fasha, don't start now," Isaac ground and the wolf stopped reaching up a paw and brushing it across her muzzle once, adorable eyes staring up at the man and he sighed, looking back at Athie, "She thinks I'm passing up an opportunity here, I think I sound like a demented lunatic talking to a wolf that couldn't possibly understand or say anything to me and I wouldn't be surprised if you're of the same opinion."
Isaac shot a glare at the wolf as she continued to stare up at him before rounding about his legs and moving closer to Athelina, head turned up expectantly at the woman as if wanting attention, almost like a typical dog, but her sheer size and appearance made it clear she was of the superior species, "I swear you and Hergezod are going to be the death of me," I only wish.. Shut it!

Athie blushed a little as he chuckled, but eventually began to giggle along. The chuckle made him look even better than he had, and a nun would be a fool not to be attracted to him. “And you'd know what it's like?” she asked, an eyebrow raised a little, but she smiled nonetheless. She ran her fingers through her hair, the curls tangled around her fingers, making her pull uncomfortably at the strands. She winced for a moment, but when she untangled the curls, she sighed in relief. “A waste, I doubt that, I heal people for a living, so I wouldn't mind healing your cheek” she said staring at his red cheek. She hated to see people injured. She turned her gaze to the wolf, it's white fur looked incredibly soft, and her fingers ached to reach out and touch it. Instead she caressed the fabric of her dress, the soft silk was slippery under her fingers.
She followed his fingers as they moved from his pockets, and was almost unable to tear her gaze away from them. No matter how much her heart longed for another man. She could always make room for another. “Well Isaac, I'm Athelina, but you can call me Athie. I mean everyone calls me that, but still, you can” she rambled, before turning her attention to Fasha. “What a pretty name, a pretty name for a pretty lady” she smiled sweetly. She jumped when Fasha barked but laughed shortly. It was cute.
'she's not my girlfriend' was the only part of his hissed sentence that Athie heard and she blushed bright red. The colour of her cheeks and dress combined made her look a little like a Christmas ornament. She didn't even stop to think that he'd translated his wolf's whine and behaviour. It didn't bother her. She chuckled quietly at his reply to the wolf, it was quite amusing really. “You don't sound demented, a little crazy... yes, but crazy is good sometimes” she said with another soft smile, her finger ghosted along the padded surface of her bottom lip, before placing her hand back by her side. “Talking to your wolf is sweet” she smiled, her mouth running before her mind could stop it. She forced a hand over her mouth. “I did not mean to call you sweet” she said wincing at the choice of word. It was so girly.
When Fasha moved towards her, she hesitantly reached out to stroke her head. The fur was soft like her dress, but had a slight course texture to it, she ran her hand down the length of Fasha's white furred body, and smiled, she carried on caressing the wolf's soft fur. Fasha reacted “Hergezod?” she questioned, having heard his statement. She frowned slightly, trying to work out who Hergezod was. She was sure she had heard the name before, but couldn't place where.

Did he know what hell was like..? Her question only incited another chuckle from Isaac, if anyone had any idea, it was definitely him, not because he'd suffered it, or because he'd been to it, no he had enough experience with this bastard devil inside him to get a glimpse of what it might have been like and the fury and rage that it provided him when his anger was unleashed. His gaze turned down to Fasha as she received the petting she was hoping for, he could have sworn sometimes that this wolf thought it was a cat. The young man knelt for a moment, ruffling the top of Fasha's head though was surprised, when the wolf shifted her head back and clamped her jaw down on his sleeve, tugging him towards Athelina to force him a little closer.
"Hey-hey watch the coat!" He complained, finding himself a bit closer to Athelina, Fasha let go as Isaac froze in front of her, rubbing the back of his head. Had she noticed him mentioning Hergezod.. That was a stupid move on his part, however her knew he had to redirect it, he couldn't speak about that out loud, "If you're really hung up on it, you can heal my cheek, if you like?" Isaac shrugged softly. Hopefully he could play on her desire to heal him to distract him from the previous matter, "But lets find some place less crowded, what do you think?" The man smirked, motioning to a more clear alley, there were a few crates that could probably be sat upon for convenience sake.
The man wandered towards it calmly, though passed quite closely to Athelina with a wry smile, he had to admit she was definitely very beautiful, it almost made him want to stop his travels for a little while, perhaps do what Fasha suggested, settle down with some-one nice. She certainly was a lovely catch, but it just wasn't so simple in Isaac's opinion, for many reasons. Fasha found herself a separate crate, hopping up onto it and settling down, staring happily in Isaac's direction as he found one to half sit upon, crossing his ankles as he looked over at the kind young woman, his arms folded, "So Athelina.. A pretty name for a pretty lady." He finally added, using her own words with that same wry smile.

She smiled softly as he chuckled, her cheeks slowly fading from red to light pink, and finally back to the pale colour she was used to. She watched happily as he knelt down to ruffle Fasha's fur. It was very sweet to see that Isaac and his wolf Fasha got along so well. She cocked her head to the side a little confused when Fasha grabbed the material of his sleeve in her jaw, but laughed softly when she dragged him towards her, even if her cheeks were starting to mar light pink again. Her laughter doubled when he complained about the coat, and she had to catch her breath for a moment.
“Really, you'll let me?” she questioned happily. “I'd love to” she added quickly, hoping that he wouldn't change his mind. She had almost forgotten that healing his cheek had been her reasoning for walking over. Any thought of who this Hegezod was, now thrown completely from her mind at the thought of healing the man in front of her. She nodded “Less crowded is good” she spoke quickly.
As they wandered into the alley way, walking beside him, Athie kept pace with him. She flipped a lock of raven black hair from her face, before looking at Isaac again. She watched as he perched down on one of the crates, so she did that same on another. She perched in a lady-like fashio, ankle crossed over the other, and legs tucked underneath herself. She was about to creep closer to put her hand on his face when he commented on her name. Her cheeks flared bright red again. “Why thank you” she whispered softly. “That's a nice thing to say” she added, not really sure how to reply. She wasn't used to compliments, usually when she went out she would wear her hood up. But she'd forgone the cloak today. She was only in Ironia. She shook her head slightly, shaking the raven coloured locks down her back.
“Right. Healing” she mumbled. Reaching her hand out, she held it a inch away from his cheek as if seeking permission to touch him, but then lightly placed her hand, soft but with slight abrasions from her love of gardening, on the skin of his cheek and murmured “Percuro” the latin word for heal. Healing bruises was easy for her. It was the deeper cuts and illnesses that were harder. They required more than one incantation. “That should feel better now” she smiled then added with a nervous laugh “If I did it right of course” she was joking of course. Healing bruises was something she'd been doing for at least 5 years now. It was the newer spells she had learned that had a larger chance of going wrong.

Isaac watched in silent wonder as she reached for his cheek, eventually feeling it against his cheek, he kept his eyes locked on the young woman as she healed his cheek, though when she mentioned that it should feel better, moreover enforcing the idea that she probably got it right, he managed to control his initial reaction, You're going to regret this. Yeah.. The pain in his face seemed to double in on itself, the feeling of the slap returning in all its glory along with a further burning pain that made Isaac snap his head away with a hiss of pain, face contorted into a look of anguish.
Fasha was practically there like a shot, leaning closer to Isaac and licking at the area of his cheek that Athelina had tried to heal, in fact the redness looked even worse than before. The wolf turned her head to the woman, her ears lowering as she whined softly, Isaac however simply sat up straight again, keeping his head lowered though so a snot to look at Athelina, "Like I said.. You shouldn't waste your abilities on me.." He commented, reaching up to rub at the even more sore section of his face, "Don't be surprised, you probably did it right," He let out a rather irritated groan, "I don't react well to healing magic."
Eventually Isaac would look up with a grin, as if not even fazed by then, "Hey tell you what, I'm taking part in the over eighteens duelling in the upcoming tournament, how bout you be my cheering section with Fasha?" He questioned, he knew he probably looked strange with a large portion of his face now glowing red as if the vast majority of it had been slapped a dozen times, but he couldn't really let it get to him. Although he was already predicting her reaction and the likely questions that might arise. How to explain it all in a way that didn't put him in an even worse situation...?

Athie pulled her hand back, and was about to smile – she loved to help people - when she heard him hiss. Her face fell instantly, a concerned and almost guilty expression replacing her usual calm, happy one. “I am so sorry, so sorry” she apologized quickly, her mouth falling open and her hand went to cover her mouth. “I thought it would help, it's never done that before” she rambled. To say she was a little shocked was an understatement. She'd never had someone react like that to her healing magic. Her instincts were telling her to try again, but she wouldn't. If she did, she was sure it would only hinder it again. “I was sure I'd done it right. I pronounced it right.” she mumbled.
“Don't react well, that's the most adversed reaction I've ever seen” she exclaimed. She bit her lip. She couldn't tear her eyes away from the red hand print on his cheek, that looked worse than it had been before. She felt even guiltier when Fasha licked his face. She bit on her fingernails. “What could cause you to react like that?” she asked, her eyes flicking from wolf, to Isaac to the alley. She placed her hands down on the crate, and tucked them under her legs. “I do know a poultice made of herbs and the like – no magic – that could help” she offered. She wasn't going to offer to heal him with magic again, but she did know some remedies that although weren't as quick, didn't involve a drop of magic. Of course it would have to wait till after her trip to the apothecary.
When Isaac finally looked up, she smiled. “I would love to cheer you on with Fasha, I was thinking about going anyway – as a healer and spectator” she replied then added “Not that I'lll try healing you with magic again” she spoke in almost a whisper. “So... do you know who you're fighting yet – or won't you know until the day of the tournament. She smiled lightly, she was looking forward to the tournament. She shifted the silken material of her dress and brushed a little piece of dirt off of the darker green shift of her dress. She smiled at him, the guilty feeling beginning to fade till it was a nagging thought in the back of her mind.

Isaac looked aside to Athelina with a slight shake of his head, there was one question he was trying to avoid answering, mostly what the cause of such a reaction was, Hergezod was laughing in the back of his mind, mostly because as Isaac suffered, the demon got some sort of demented pleasure from it, "It's difficult to explain, moreover because its the kind of think that drives others away, except of course Fasha." He looked at the wolf as she rounded herself behind her master to pretty much wedge herself between Athelina and Isaac, her head plopping down in the woman's lap, sad eyes staring up at her, "I've had her since she was a pup, most think she's just a tamed beast, but she's smart, so smart she makes some humans look like complete idiots."
He leaned back resting one hand past the wolf's form to balance himself, "Actually I've got no clue who my opponent actually is, the lists said he's some guy called Collin I think, not that I've seen him, doesn't matter, I'm practically unbeatable," Isaac confidently banged his other hand on his chest, this was followed by the same chuckle he'd given before, like he knew something that no-one else did, "And no, don't try healing me with magic, that does smart a bit," He warned jokingly, however leaned forward, uncrossing his ankles and leaned on his knees, head half turning towards her as he focused on the woman a bit more directly, "Dont tell anyone about this.. It's something I don't often like sharing," Yes, because we all know sharing is caring, right? That healing magic is a bitch, you should snap her neck to make damn sure she cant tell anyone about it, Why dont you try and make me? Oh that's right, you cant.. .. You're a bastard, Isaac.. Isaac grinned suddenly, not realizing it as he responded within his mind, Takes one to know one,
"Potions and herbs work fine because its more natural and not blessed by Divinity." Isaac finally spoke, chuckling again and shaking his head softly before he eventually stood up, looking back at Fasha and Athelina, he seemed to be contemplating something, "She's taken quite the liking to you, she isn't normally this fond of strangers.." He stated in an almost matter-of-fact-like manner, "Fasha is brighter than some people give her credit for.. She's outsmarted trained assassins and even confounded gangs of bandits all on her own. I'd never consider her a pet, she's my most trusted companion." Again the look of consideration swept across his face, he looked out at the busy street then deeper into the alleyway, but neither seemed promising, "If she trusts you, then so do I.. If you want to know the whole truth, I'll share it with you, but not out in the open like this." Isaac grinned, offering Athelina his hand, "What do you think?"
You're going to regret this Maybe

“Fasha seems very loyal to you” she said softly. When Fasha rested her head in Athies lap, her hand subconsciously moving to rest gently on the soft fur. She ran her hand over Fasha's head lightly. “You don't need to explain it's fine” she said softly. If he didn't want to tell her, or didn't know how to, she understood. He'd only just met her so he didn't owe her any explanations. She kept stroking the white furred wolf. “She seems very smart” she smiled. She was rather content stroking the wolf. It's fur was soft, and the course texture added to it made it feel delightful under her finger tips.
She laughed softly, it was not a disbelieving laugh however. “I don't doubt it. You look pretty unbeatable” she complimented, looking over his body once. Her smile fell a little, thinking of the failed attempt to heal him, but didn't fall completely. Since he was joking. “I am sorry about that” she apologized once again. She looked in directly in the eyes “Don't worry I won't tell any one” she assured. She wasn't the type of person to out another’s secrets.
“Then later – once I have the herbs – please allow me to make the poultice” she smiled at him. It was the least she could do. After having badgered him about the healing magic, she could at least make the magic free poultice. Athie smiled brightly. She wasn't really sure what to say, but keep stroking the wolf. It made her very happy to think that Fasha had taken to her better than she'd taken to others. “She really isn't fond of strangers?” she asked, finding it a little hard to believe given the welcome she'd been given by the wolf, but she did believe it. “She seems like a very good companion, must be very handy to have around.” She smiled. It was strange to see a man and wolf so in tune, but here they were. Isaac and Fasha.
Intrigued by his look of consideration, she wanted to ask, but her mouth refused to open. “I'd... I'd like that” she said stuttering slightly. Not many people had told her they trusted her. Being a former thief the people she'd met then knew not to trust anyone except themselves. Now as a healer, she was more trusting. Not that she'd ever been not trusting. It was shown in how quickly she had trusted Adrian. She reached her hand out to place it in his. “So where did you have in mind?” she asked, wondering where he would take her.
As she stood from the crate, she dusted down the back of her dress with her free hand. She made sure to carefully move Fasha's head from her lap, so not to injure the wolf, though she felt sure that Fasha wouldn't have been injured anyway. She was probably sturdier than any dog. She smiled at Isaac before looking around the alley. Her mind wandered to her past. If he was going to tell her the whole truth, then she would do the same if he asked about who she was. She figured that if she knew a secret of his, then he should know a secret of hers.

"Where? Honestly? I have no idea.. I'm barely familiar with this city. I'd say my room at the local inn would work but-" He shrugged, withdrawing his hand with a chuckle, hands coming to a rest on his hips, "-then it just sounds like I'm coming on to you," He added in the same jesting manner, Fasha had hopped off the boxes, circling around Isaac's legs before nudging him closer to Athelina again, this actually making Isaac look nervous, one hand raised to brush at the top of his head, clearly Fasha had other ideas, she was like a determined child almost, he was lucky she didn't throw tantrums like one.
Isaac smiled then, lowering the hand once more, "How bout you suggest the place? At least if you know your way around." The man suggested, it probably would have made more sense in the first place to ask her to choose where they went, although he realized he'd never formally introduced himself, just offered her his first name for convenience' sake, "Isaac Thane Septimus," He added, bowing his head politely to her, placing a hand on his stomach as he half-bent his form in the same polite manner, it at least suggested he had a very formal upbringing, "My whole name. As for my profession; Vigilante and Bounty Hunter,"
He understood that this alone was probably quite a bit of information, if anyone knew of his family name from Quie they could easily have traced it back to his family, meanwhile revealing he was a Vigilante had trouble in itself, most understood that a vigilante was a reckless sort who could care less about laws and procedures, as for revealing he was a bounty hunter, it meant that he probably had the skills to cause a lot of commotion and a lot of damage. Not to mention he probably knew his way around the sword at his hip.

Athie smiled pleasantly and mulled over where they could go . She laughed softly, although her cheeks blushed at the thought. “It's a good job, that I am familiar with Alydon then” she smiled. Athelina came to Alydon often, usually on trip for business or to shop, an so she was acquainted with the city. Enough to know her way around. She bit back a smile as Fasha pushed him closer to her again. She bit her lip after a moment. Thinking of places they could go.
“I know my way around” she said with a little laugh. Athie may not have been born in Ironia, but she'd come to see the place as home and knew many of the cities well. Alydon was one of them. “I know one of the taverns quite well, the landlord would be happy to let us through the back. Even so all of the customers there are too drunk to be able to understand a word” she suggested with a laugh as she recalled some of the drunks in the tavern. She was lucky to know the landlord rather well. When he offered his full name and bowed after, Athelina returned the gesture “Athelina Adeline Bellecote” she said as she lifted the material of her dress a little to curtsey. “Vigilante and Bounty Hunter?” she questioned, not in a judging tone, “that must be very dangerous.” she added softly.
“I believe you must have guessed my profession by now, I am a healer” she said with a soft smile, then smirked a little, “Let you in on a secret though... I wasn't always a healer. I dare you to guess which profession I had before” she laughed then added “It wasn't necessarily legal”. Though he was a Vigilante, and she had been a thief, Athie had no bounties or 'wanted' posters over her head. Not for years now. She flicked a strand of black hair away from her neck as the curl tickled her skin lightly. The teasing comments about guessing her past profession had left her lips easier than she thought they would.
Athie had been brought up a lady, no matter how much she'd diverted from that path in her youth. “Do you mind if on the way we stop at the apothecary? I have a few things I need to buy there – and I did want to get some herbs for your face.” she asked, looking at him, for permission, she didn't want to slow them down, but she really did need those herbs and potions.

Isaac gave er a curious look when she mentioned she had a less reputable career at one point, thought thinking back on what he'd seen of her so far he'd never have pegged her for such a thing, although eventually he smirked, reaching other to one of her hands so he could turn her palm over, he gently tested her fingers by pressing against them in a soft manner and letting go, simply watching the recoil, how they moved and retracted, this alone made him smile slightly, "You were a cut-purse, or a thief."
Eventually he let go of her hand whilst smirking, "You have fine fingers, they move easily, you were probably pretty good at snatching things on the sly, little things," he wasn't actually sure for certain, but he was considering simple things, like her age, her current looks, the fact that she had all fingers and both hands, if she had any kind of disreputable career at one point, it was likely petty thievery. He'd seen young thieves before and knew that only the smart and quick ones with good fingers rarely got caught.
Well she's certainly stolen your attention, Hergezod scoffed within the recesses of Isaac's mind and he only grinned to himself, quickly returning his attention to where it belonged, "I dont see why we cant stop at the apothecary. There's certainly no time like the present." The man chuckled, resting his hands at his sides again as he walked, though fell in line close to Athelina, knowing to follow since he certainly didn't know where ot lead. Fasha meanwhile continued to pad happily on either side, changing position at convenience so as not to run headlong into people.

Athelina didn't resist as he took her hand, and watched in silent fascination. When he let go of her fingers, they curled back quickly, as if grasping an imaginary object. Her grin grew, and she was about to ask how he guessed, when he explained his reasoning. “Well, you got it in one. I was a thief” she said, holding her hands up in mock surrender. After meeting Ashley she was definitely less uptight about her past, not so much that she was going to shout about it, but just enough that she wasn't denying it now. Plus she had asked him to guess. It would be 'bad sportsmanship' to deny it.
“I was very good at snatching little things, and some larger loots if I got their attention long enough. No one ever doubted me” she sighed softly, in an almost reminiscent fashion. “I don't think it was right in anyway. In fact it was damn wrong, but it felt good at the time, having that one over on someone. Being about to make a living doing barely nothing” a small smile lingered on her lips as she explained. She shook her head, clearing her thoughts.
“Great” she said, turning away for a moment, to retrieve her purse. Since she'd left her cloak and a bag at home, she'd gone with the option of storing her valuables in her cleavage. She blushed when she turned back, but held the purse tightly in her hand. She could feel the coins burning through the material, imprinting into her skin. She led them both in the direction of the apothecary. Pushing the door too, she was hit by the instant smell of herbs and healing spices. The smell of burning incense overpowered her nostrils, and she had to cough for a moment. She'd forgotten just how strongly the shops could smell.
She hurriedly picked out her herbs, spices, and other bits. Wanting to get out of the shop as quickly as possible. After she'd paid and they were on their way out, Athie apologized “I'm sorry about that, I forgot just how harshly those shops smell” she smiled, although in the reflection of the glass she saw the shop keeper glare at her. Oops she thought. She probably should have waited till they were out of the shop and back in the street. Nonetheless, she carried on. “Okay. Tavern” she muttered, as they reached a cross road. “I think it's left” she murmured mostly to herself. “I'm sure its left” she confirmed, laughing under her breath at her own forgetfulness. As they approached it, she turned her head to Isaac, “This an okay place?” she asked, wanting to know his opinion.

"An interesting vocation, I suppose, but so long as you never did so with the intent to harm others," He looked over at her with a strangely maniacal face, although it looked very forced, "I guess I wont have to check for a bounty.." He threatened, playfully of course, pulling from his coat pocket a rather ragged book, the corners of which were heavily bent and worn form having been flipped through so many times, it was something that some bounty hunters carried. An actual bounty list, in a world so full of people there would always be a long list of those with bounties upon their heads. He flipped through it quickly, winked at her then snapped it shut and pocketed it again.
Isaac's face had long returned to normal as he followed close to the woman, his wolf companion keeping close, although she had begun to show some of her less friendly attitude to some of the people that wandered too close, growling at those that approached and keeping them distanced enough for her to pass with ease and for Isaac and Athelina to have no obstacles, the wolf practically seemed to know exactly where they were going ahead of Athie even taking a turn, it was a good demonstration of her intelligence, her strange awareness that made her so different to some simple pet.
The stop at the apothecary didn't seem to faze Isaac as even he entered, though Fasha refused, obviously because the smell really was bad to her nose, meanwhile the man smirked at Athelina's complaints about the slight stench such a place presented. Isaac had been in places that smelled of death and worse yet, this didn't bother him in the slightest as he followed out after her, only grinning like an idiot to himself. Again he and Fasha followed, the wolf happily hopping along in the lead, one man was offended by the seemingly ill nature of the wolf as she warded him off, he was even about to strike at the creature until he found his arm caught, Isaac had caught it like flash, and simply threw the hand aside, ignoring the man completely but to give him a single cold glare that warned him to not approach further.
Once they reached the Taven, Isaac smiled at Athelina widely, "So long as there is a place where there are no ears to listen to what is said, I'm sure it's perfectly fine, lead the way," he partly bowed, one hand held towards the apparent entrance so she could go first.
