This is a small run up event set the day before the event itself. Here characters can meet each other, train together even hate each other. Not everyone will meet though they could see each other. There is small party being held in the Gardens for everyone attending so its a good hotspot to check out. Or maybe hit the streets where their are plenty of delights from Artists to singers. The Armys of Ironia and Venius are out in force maybe watch them parade the streets some are said to be putting on some form of entertainment.

Ravenna's carriage drove up to Ironia, and she slung her hood up. It was odd to be going to Ironia. Since she rarely left her kingdom, it was like going into uncharted territory. She wondered if things might be better in the kingdom if she made a point of going to the other kingdoms to get more business. Not that she truly cared. She just didn't want to be dethroned. She stepped out of her carriage and looked around. The city was bustling with people. It was the sort of event Ravenna loved. The idea of killing was appealing to her. The only thing she didn't like was that she a mere spectator. It was no fun. Maybe she'd cause a little chaos. Steal some souls or something.
She tilted her head to one side, shaking her blond hair down till it fell in cascades down her back. She thought she suited the blond hair better than her natural black hair. It was why she'd been named Ravenna sure, but she looked so much colder with blonde hair. The raven black hair and earned her the name Ravenna, and she'd never bothered to try and change her name. What would she have now. Flavia? It did not sound nearly as good as Ravenna. She forced a smile at one of the peasents of Ironia before walking past. She had a destination in mind and she was not going to stop till she got there. Her own body guards flanked her sides. Her 'brother' stalking behind them. Needlessly sending his winning smile to the pretty ladies.

The last few days had been considerably busy not only for the people of this city but two different sects of people, The Mercs and assassins had been rather busy both night and day. Austin only knew about the assassin's as he had seen them at work oh and he had been contracted by one of the guilds funny enough. With the Mercs a lot of them were going back and forth helping out with supplies or having been employed to oversee certain part of the cities. There were mercenary Captains walking throughout he city with their company's some contracted to help with the army other having decided just to show up and seize any opportunity they could some where disruptive other just liked to keep to themselves. The Assassins guilds were up to all sorts mainly though as usual it was assassinations which was happening left right and center but it was only to be expected in such huge crowds. It was said even the black market was buzzing with eccentric activity.
At this particular moment in time Austin was in the Gardens watching the festivities in the run up to the tournament, the party was only just starting but everyone seemed to be enjoying things. Austin himself was sat on one of the garden hedges just watching not really getting involved at the moment. He was watching some girl do some party tricks for the kids it was quite amusing really she was complete amateur, he would of gone over to take over for himself but he was just as rubbish but this girl knew nothing of what kids liked. sighing eh shook his head it was at that time he noticed Queen Ravenna he smiled a little she always payed him well when he was doing jobs for her. At this moment in time he was protecting a royal family member from Venius the brother of the king.
Austin was suddenly brought out of his thoughts by a large shout not only did he turn but quite a lot of people did. He rolled his eyes. it was the mercenary Captain Rodrigo Garlon with some of his company members, this guy seemed to have it out for him. He sat there and smiled at him. "Oh look its the famous Austin Larel I have a bone to pick with you, YOU stole my SHIP," the man spat with a venomous tone in his voice. Austin sighed though too be honest he was nearly laughing. "Oh that was your boat," he mentioned sarcastically something that just infuriated Rod more. "YOU KNOWN DAMN WELL IT WAS," he roared. "Oh yes I remember was it the abandoned one you know when you stupidly left the comfort of your ship to use smaller ships to capture a sea monster, it was ripe for the taking." The Captain's face went red "HOW DARE YOU my company is wroth thousands of you we have been around since before you were born boy...." he never finished Austin cut in. "What was the track record ony our contracts again thousand times even more so passed over and an uncountable amount of failures." that was when Rod's lid exploded he almost sounded like a lion when he roared, eh charged at Austin sword in hand Austin had no weapon but his bow and arrows. Within minutes of getting close to Austin, the sword was no longer in his hand it was in Austins, Austin was behind him the sword now firmly in his palm, he threw it away instantly and put his fists up a small grin on his face. "you sure your up this big man."

The Queen had felt the dark intents of many individuals, in spite the festivities, in fact they were feelings so loud in all this cheer and mirth that she could have pinpointed them out like candles in the dark. She too was not far from the gardens when she felt the hatred of a man before he had even shouted at the object of his frustration. Whilst she had not often intended to get in-between the standard disputes of every fool on the street, this was a time for merriment, not for blood. And like a wind from the darkness itself,t he blue eyed devil that was the swordmaster and Queen of Ironia practically materialized, dashing in with inhuman speed. Two fine, gleaming sabres reflecting the lights of the festivities nearby, the blades drawn and spread outwards, slicing the air around them as she appeared, so swiftly it left trails on the wind, a length of light as they eyes of those observing tried to keep up with the sheer speed of the woman.
She stood between the two men, one edge threateningly close to the neck of the one known as Rodrigo, the other held in defensive manner in the direction of Austin practically prompting him to attack, however she stared at him in a dark manner, then looked towards the other Mercenary, her blades had not yet touched either man, but with such speed it was evident that she could have killed them at any time, "This is a time for festivities and friendliness, this is my city and at this time my people are enjoying a time of happiness, they will enjoy the following days as friendly combat is performed before them in a friendly arena, they will bet and laugh and cheer, they will cry at their losses and they will continue to live even after, working and serving this kingdom with grace and humility." Her eyes turned then to Austin again, she had no less the look of a killer on her face, a smirk raising at the edges of her lips.
"I'll not let the slightest bit of your irresponsible behaviour threaten the joy of my people. If you have a dispute, you will settle it in the ring, or you shall both cease this foolishness at this time, otherwise your executions here will be swift and unseen, you will be forgotten and you will perish, without leaving so much as a trace of your currently worthless existences in the world, no-one will remember you, no-one will mourn you." She turned swiftly in place, the blades spinning in a blur of violent light before sheathing side by side on her right hip, hair flinging out around her, even her armour did nothing to slow her speed or her grace, a strong gust spreading from her movements towards the two men, practically like a premonition of death on the air itself, "Or I can look at this as little more than a petty dispute, the both of you can walk in opposite directions and I can put this out of my mind.." She looked between the two of them with a confident smirk on her face, "So, what do you say, children..? Are you prepared to enjoy the rest of your time in this festival as well? Or are you prepared to enjoy the rest of time in unmarked graves..?"

Ravenna stifled a laugh at the sight in front of her. She was about to move on, when the dear Queen of Ironia broke the fight up a pout settled on her lips. She was quite enjoying the chaos of the fight. “Aaliyah Ironia well well well” she muttered. “How is the queen of Ironia these days, still without a husband?” she asked, her tone a little sarcastic. She was really asking to be killed wasn't she. Then again. She knew that most knew to fear Ravenna for different reasons. Aaliyah may have been a brilliant swords woman, but Ravenna had her own tricks.
“Let the boys have their fun. Boys will be boys” she said, defending Austin and the other bloke. Who she honestly didn't know. “I'm looking forwards to this Aaliyah, it's a lot for Ironia to handle don't you think?” she asked cocking her head sideways to look at Aaliyah in a doubting patronising fashion. She really didn't think that Ironia would cope. The city was too nice for a tournemant like this. People would die, she was sure. It would be fun. Maybe she could steal some of the dying fighters souls. Quicken their deaths.
Ravenna forced a pleasent smile. She was looking forwards to Aaliyah's reaction. She really was. Her son looked at her like she was mad. He was still flanking at her side. He was watching Aaliyah closely. Apparently he thought she was pretty. When he told her that, Ravenna had hit him, then she'd warmed to the idea a little. If she could match make them. She'd have an ally in Ironia. Which was not a bad idea. Though she doubted the Queen of Ironia would agree.
“Good day Austin, do try and keep out of trouble.” she forced a grin, she didn't mean that. She wanted trouble, but she wanted Austin alive. He was good at his job. He always did what she wanted him too, and she paid handsomely for it of course.

Watching all the people file in, laughing talking and sizing up who they’re against was quite interesting. There were so many different types of people in fact he had never seen so much variety in one spot. Though this wasn’t at all the reason why he was here. No he was here for a certain Queen, watching her once more from the side lines. It was quite a lot for Irona to handle but it was clear to Collin that if anyone would be able to do it this Queen would. And this was proven as a fight broke out suddenly.
Hopping down from his spot around the edges of the gathering he walking quickly and smoothly into the middle of it all. “Good day my Queen,” he said smiling sweet at Aaliyah gave a bow before turning to the other Queen and gave a shorter and smaller bow. He came to stand beside Austin was it? Anyway he placed a hand on his shoulder. “It seems we have a few who wants to start the festivities early. No need to dampen the games with their deaths right? Just wait a few days.” His calm and happy face seemed a bit out of place but then again it was a fake. He would have rather joined in on the fight and showed both of them up but that would displease his target. He couldn’t be having that right. “What do ya say? Shake hands and call it a draw?”
